Did you notice @stephen_nedoroscik eyes are crossed? That’s why he can do that cool party trick of switching between his two eyes. Many people with strabismus can do this. And this is why strabismus is not the same thing as a lazy eye. Individuals with crossed eyes or eyes that wander out may have perfect 20/20 vision in each eye. When one eye is not centered, they use the other eye and then rapidly switch to the other eye. As a strabismus surgeon, nothing excites me more than to see an Olympic athlete sharing his vision journey. Because it truly demonstrates that eye issues don’t have to limit you.
