Do this ✅ not this ❌ from a board certified ophthalmologist. If you have a stye, or a painful red bump on your eyelid: ✅ use warm compresses with a gentle massage ❌ do not try to squeeze or pop a stye, this can cause an infection If you have an eyelid twitch: ✅ do stress reducing activities, get a good night’s sleep, and get plenty of hydration ❌ do not drink alcohol and caffeine, this can make eye twitching worse If you have dry eyes: ✅ use artificial tears and other lubricants to the moisturize the eye ❌ do not use visine, because visine doesn’t fix the underlying problem and consistent use can cause side effects Follow for more eye health tips! #eyehealthtips #stye #eyetwitch #dryeye #ophthalmology #optometry #dothisnotthat #doctortips #eyehealth
