Stitch with: @rititimommy_ Ever wonder why your baby’s soft spot sometimes pulsates? 🤔 It’s totally normal! Those soft spots (fontanelles) allow their little brains grow and develop, and that gentle pulsing is just their heartbeat doing its thing! 💓 In general, you don’t need to worry about a baby’s soft spot. As long as you handle them with care, support their head, and avoid direct pressure over the fontanelle they will be just fine! If you do, however, notice signs like bulging or sunken fontanelles, it’s good to check in with your pediatrician as these may indicate dehydration or another medical issue. Babies do so many weird and wonderful things—from those tiny hiccups to odd sleep sounds. Want to learn more about things they do that often worry parents but are totally normal? Comment or DM me “NEWBORNS EXPLAINED” to get a link to our FREE PDF packed with all the fun (and strange) baby facts you need! 👶🌟
