Halloween contact lens tips from an eye doctor đŸ‘» Contacts are actually medical devices that you insert into your eye and need to be cared for properly. They have to be measured and fit for your eyeball by your eye doctor, even cosmetic ones. They definitely aren’t “one size fits all”. Don’t risk vision threatening complications by ordering your contact lens from a Halloween store from a non-FDA approved online store. Complications of an incorrect fit include corneal ulcers (infection), distortions,, discomfort and yes even the potential for blindness. And the biggest mistake I see is people saving their contacts from last year’s Halloween. Most of these lenses are monthly lenses which need to be thrown away after 30 days. Your eye doctor may have the special glass vials to clean and maintain the contacts for longer, but you shouldn’t do that with just regular contact cases! Stitch with @lenspoisonofficial
