🫀Scenario Sunday🫁 You are dispatched to a residence for an 80 year old female complaining of shortness of breath. You arrive on scene and find the patient lying supine in bed complaining of shortness of breath. She is on 2L of oxygen via nasal cannula that she wears all the time. You immediately notice the patient is tachypnic with accessory muscle usage and distention in his neck (shown in video). The patient’s family tells you that she has been extremely weak, dizzy, and has had difficulty concentrating for the last few days. They also inform you that today they noticed unusual swelling in her feet and ankles. The patient has a history of COPD and hypertension. Vital Signs Pulse: 128 bpm Respirations: 30 per minute Blood pressure: 180/102 Lung sounds: Crackles/Rales bilaterally SpO2 88% Skin: Pale, cool and clammy 🚨Using the above information try to answer the following questions.
