🚨 HAZARDOUS MEDICATION?! SERIOUSLY, FDA?! 🚨 @fda Amazon Pharmacy is now slapping “hazardous medication” stickers on estradiol patches, while vaginal estrogen STILL carries an outdated BLACK BOX WARNING—lumping it in with systemic estrogen and scaring both patients and doctors away from safe, effective treatment. New York Times reporter Jancee Dunn saw the ALL-CAPS WARNING on her vaginal estrogen prescription: 🚨 ENDOMETRIAL CANCER, CARDIOVASCULAR DISORDERS, BREAST CANCER, AND PROBABLE DEMENTIA. (Probable dementia?? Seriously?) ❌ THIS IS FEAR-MONGERING, NOT SCIENCE. ✔ Vaginal estrogen does NOT increase stroke, blood clot, or dementia risk. ✔ It reduces UTIs by 50%, preventing hospitalizations, sepsis, and even death. ✔ It’s safe even for women with a history of breast cancer. Meanwhile, in 2022, the U.K. made vaginal estrogen available over-the-counter. The FDA? Still forcing outdated, misleading labels, keeping women in fear and suffering in silence. 💥 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. 📢 Join the movement. Tell the FDA to remove the black box warning.
