You have a gap in your medical education when you: THIS VIDEO DOES NOT APPLY TO THE TIME SPENT AFTER YOU GRADUATE FROM YOUR FOREIGN MEDICAL SCHOOL But you have a gap during medical school when you: ℹ️ take longer than the allotted time to graduate medical school ℹ️ take a leave of absence from medical school for any reason ℹ️ when your anticipated graduation date from your enrollment day changes during the course of your education ℹ️ when you extended your medical education i.e. med school time spent was extended for any reason ℹ️ when you had to wait for your visa to be renewed to complete classes or rotations ℹ️ when you had to leave the country for XYZ when you should’ve been in medical school PLEASE NOTE: gaps during medical education are different from gaps after medical school graduation.
