This was after a confiscation rescue mission. These binturongs were abducted from the wild and headed to the illegal pet trade had @mikeaho & our team not intervened. All 3 of their physical exams checked out & they’re great candidates for wildlife rehab & hopefully release one day! Binturongs AKA “Asian bearcats” are very unique animals in the viverridae family. Viverrids include the civet genet, linsang and fossa; also neato mammals you may have never heard of.
