#ad It’s back-to-school season and your child may bring home germs along with those cute art pieces you don’t know where to put. This time of year, it can feel like you’re living in sick cycles where one illness cycles through your household and after everyone recovers, it begins all over again. We’ve been there too, and I recommend focusing on these holistic strategies to help limit the spread of germs in the household: ➡️Prioritize rest. This is hard to do as parents, but if someone is sick in your house—avoid the late night bedtime procrastination and go to bed. If you’re sick, this is even more important. ➡️Focus on disinfecting in the house: when someone is sick, it’s a good idea to disinfect high-touch, hard, nonporous surfaces with @Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. This includes door handles, television remotes, toilet handles, and faucets which can harbor germs. ➡️Get back to basics: hydration, exercise, and getting outdoors, weather-permitting, are free and can help our immune system. ➡️Protect others if someone is sick. If the person is developmentally able, mask them if they’re sick and in common areas. We have done this the last two times an illness has come through the house, and it has helped prevent others from getting sick. ➡️And my personal go-to to keep me healthy: Golden milk at the first sign of a sore throat and sniffle. Because of the honey, it’s safe to use over one year of age and it’s how we help battle inflammation from those upper respiratory infections Have questions about germs in the household?
